I was born and raised in Duluth, MN and am happily married and the mother of two fantastic children. There are many things I enjoy outside of the office including: gardening, fishing, turtle hunting, canoeing with my son, playing dress-up with my daughter, all types of art, and enjoying a warm campfire with family and friends.
I approach therapy in more of a coaching manner. Most clients can identify what is going wrong or what is missing in their lives, but need guidance on how to get back on track. I most often find that people get "stuck." They tend to do what has worked in the past and are frustrated that these same behaviors, expectations, and coping skills are not working in their current life circumstances.
